We have many opportunities to reach out to our community this Christmas and we’d love for every church member to be involved with at least one of our events!

Saturday 14 December - Outdoor Carols at 5pm

SET-UP TEAM: Moving barriers to close the road, setting-up equipment in Stanley Gardens - must be available at 4pm

CATERING TEAM: Preparing mulled wine and mince pies for people to enjoy after the carols. Arrive at 4.15pm.

STEWARDING TEAM: Wearing high-viz jackets, ensuring children don't run into the road, making sure people don't block the pavements, handing out songsheets, collecting for our charity (Glass Door). Arrive at 4.30pm.

GENEROSITY TEAM: Handing out chocolates / sweets / glow-sticks to children during the event. Arrive at 4.30pm.

PACK-DOWN TEAM: Helping to get the church ready post mulled wine and mince pies, ready for the Sunday service the next morning. Timings from 6.30pm-7pm onwards.

Sunday 15 December - Carols by Candlelight at 7pm

SET UP TEAM: Arranging the freestanding candles on the altar / around the church, lighting all candles from 6pm. Arrive at 5.30pm.

CATERING TEAM: Prepping the mulled wine and mince pies for after the service, then slipping out during the last carol to start pouring drinks. Arrival at 5.45pm.

WELCOME TEAM: Giving people a warm welcome, handing out programmes and candles when people enter the church, finding seats for people. Arrive at 6pm.

PACK-DOWN TEAM: Tidying the church, disposing of candles and putting the chairs back in their usual positions. Timings from 8.30pm onwards.

Wednesday 25 December - Christmas Day at 10.30am

WELCOME TEAM: Arrive 10.10am to welcome people on the main doors
